help writers make their  I spend my days wearing slippers and writingHey This blog is where I share everyday thoughts, my photography, and things that inspire me. Cheers

.  Hey there! I’m Abbie, and I help writers make their stories matter by teaching them how to harness the power of storytelling and transform their ideas into a masterpiece. LET ME HELP OUT.

Story isn’t about “what happens” — it’s about how what happens affects and transforms the characters. I believe that there is an exact science (a recipe, if you will) behind a perfect story. And if you know what ingredients you need, you can create your own perfect story with ease and confidence.

But the writer’s life encompasses far more than just writing — and that’s why on this blog we go beyond writing and publishing, and talk about creating a balanced, healthy lifestyle. In addition to all things writing, I also share my best tried-and-true techniques for productivity, time management, and mental wellness so that you can take your art to the next level and live the life of your dreams.

About me, specifically:
I’ve been writing stories ever since I could hold a pencil. What started out as an intrinsic love for storytelling has turned into my lifelong passion. There’s nothing I like better than writing (and reading) stories that are both heartrending and humorous, with a touch of cute romance and a poignant streak of truth running through them.

I post weekly writing videos on my YouTube channel. When I’m not writing or dreaming up new stories, I’m either road-tripping to national parks, practicing karate, eating waffles, or binge-watching BBC Masterpiece dramas in my cozy Vermont home with a cup of tea and my fluffy white lap dog, Pearl.

Follow me on Instagram for pretty bookish photos + behind-the-scenes stories.

What are your long-term and short-term goals with your work?

My short term goal as of right now is to continue learning and growing my writing career–and finish editing/prepping book 3 in my series so I can publish that in the very near future.

As for a long term goal: to keep writing, writing, writing, and make as much of an impact as I can, helping readers realize that there is a warrior within them, and that they have SO. MUCH. POTENTIAL. They are powerful, sacred beings.
